All our waterfalls tours include transportation from Tzimol to Las 3 Tzimoleras in a 4×4 which takes approximately 45 minutes.
It is very important to make a reservation (with a 50% deposit) before arriving.
Tzimol is approximately 12km from Comitán de Domínguez:
- 40-50 minutes by colectivo ($18 per person, every 10 mins, 6am-8pm, 6am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays)
- 15-20 minutes by taxi (about $250 per taxi)
It is also 2 hours from San Cristóbal de Las Casas and 3 hours from Tuxtla Gutiérrez. There are regular buses and colectivos to/from San Cristóbal and Tuxtla to Comitán.
Once in Tzimol, we’ll meet at our office which is half a block from the Central Park. From our office, we will travel approximately 11km on a picturesque trail accessible only by 4x4s to the waterfalls.
